CHAP. IX.
An ACT to divorce the persons therein named.
Preamble.
WHEREAS good cause hath been shown to this general assembly, why the persons hereafter named should be discharged from the bonds of matrimony : Therefore,
Persons divorced.
BE it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, That the bonds of matrimony existing between John Sevier, junior, and his wife Susanna, formerly of Greene county ; Samuel Moore, and his wife Anne, of the same county ; Lewis Edwards and his wife Mary ; John Cunningham of Knox county, and his wife Elizabeth ; Mary Ann Gallaher, and her husband William Gallaher ; Elizabeth Williams, and her husband Nathaniel Williams ; William Cartwright, and his wife Polly, be, and they are hereby dissolved to all intents and purposes ; and that the aforesaid persons be restored to all the rights, privileges, and immunities which each enjoyed before their intermarriage.
