Roberson-Waller.

The following account of the wedding of Clyde Roberson, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mart Roberson, and a former resident of Wichita Falls and a graduate of the Wichita Falls high school, was published in the Texico, New Mexico, Trumpet of the date of April 30th.

At 9 o'clock on Wednesday evening, April 28, 1909, at the First Christian Church of Farwell, Miss Sarah Elizabeth Waller was given in marriage to Mr. Lawrence Clyde Roberson.

The church was handsomely adorned with palms and pink and white decorations. The ushers were Messrs. Harry Hunt and James Sellars. The ceremony was preceded by a solo, "Oh, Promise Me," rendered by Mrs. M. M. Craig and a duet, "Sweetest Story Ever Told," by Mrs. Craig and Mr E. T. Hunter.

The bridal party entered the room, accompanied by the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, played by Mrs. D. W. Dunn. The bridal party were: Ben Hartman and Rex Stegall, groomsmen; Oscar Cylett, best man; the Misses Daisy Brown and Novella Tayler, bridesmaids and Miss Jennie Roberson, best lady. The bridesmaids carried pink and white carnations. The bride's dress was white messeline, trimmed in pearl, and her bouquet was white roses. The groom wore the conventional black. Elder D. T. Broadus of Meriarty officiated in the beautiful and impressive ceremony, which [??] bride and groom as man wife. A large number of friends witnessed the marriage.

Following the ceremony a reception was given the bridal party and a [??] friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mart Roberson, parents of the groom.

The groom is a young business of Farwell, and his large number of friends bear witness to his excellent standing and conduct.  The bride is a daughter of S H Waller, prosperous and highly esteemed farmer near Texico, and is a young lady of splendid character and qualifications to [??] her place in a new household.

Their many friends extend hearty congratulations and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Roberson, and as an expression of such have showered them with a number of handsome presents. They will make their home in Farwell.
