Death of Widow:  Nov. 19, 1883 - Hopkins Co., Texas

Marriage Date - February 1818 - Giles County, Tennessee
Soldier's first wife:  Sarah Melton, born ca. 1783-1790, died ca. 1814
Marriage date:  August 9, 1804, Warren County, Kentucky

William Garrett was born 5 April 1790
Died:  12 August 1852 - Hopkins County, Texas
Residences:  Lauderdale, Alabama, Fayette County, TN., Gibson Co., Indiana, and Hopkins Co., Texas  (Of course, he was also in Warren Co., KY and Giles Co., TN. for his two marriages) 

It looks like he had 640 acres in Hopkins Co.
