In the name of God Amen. I John White of Surry County being very Sick and unahe in body but of perfect Sence and memory thanks be given to Almighty God Therefore do make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testement as followeth. ----
First I bequeath my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Jesus Christ my Redeemer fully Trusting in his Merritts for Remition of all my Sins and for what Estate it hath pleased God to bless me with in this Life. I doe dispose of as is hearafter Expresst. ---
I bequeath to my Brother Wm White all my Wearing Apparel and my Chest Except my great Coat. ---
I bequeath to my Uncle Xto Mooring all the Account that is between us Excepting Money. ---
I bequeath to cozon John Humphrey's Son of my Sister Mary Humphery's thirty Shillg to be Paid out on him in Learning. ---
I bequeath the next two of the Eldest of my Afforesaid Sister Marys Children twenty Shillings to be Paid out on them in Learning. ---
I desire that my feather bed and all the furniture that doth belong to it Should be Sold as soon as conveniently it an for Mony by my Execr and the Produce theirof to be paid to my Cozon Jno Humphery's Son of my Sister Mary Humphrey's when he Shall Com to Lawfull Age. ---
I bequeath to my Sister Elizabeth White five Pounds. ---
I bequeath to my Brother Walter White my Great Coat and my bridle and Sadle. --
I bequeath to my Cozen Xto Moring my whole Duty of man and to Jane Moring my Common Prayer book
I bequeath to my brother Charles White's three Children Eatch of them twenty Shillg to put them to School. ---
And I give to Thomas and Mary Wrenn Eatch a Bible of Shillg and Six pence Price. ---
I bequeath to my Brother Walter Whits three Children to Eatch of them Twenty Shellg to putt them to School out of the Debt their father Oweth me. ---
I bequeath all the Rest of my Estate to my brother Charles White after my Just debts are paid. ---
I make and Ordain my Brother Charles White my Full & Sole Executor of this my Last Will in Wittness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale this 14th day of March 1727/8. ---
