WE AND EACH OF US, appointed appraisers, accept the appointment and we and each of us do Solemnly Swear that we will make a just and fair evaluation and appraisement of all the property, real and personal, of every description situated in the Parish of Lincoln, La. according to the best information we are able to get belonging to William D. Cook, dec'd. which may be shown to us or may in any way come to our knowledge and we will assist J. W. Williams Clerk District Court and exofficio Recorder and Notary Public, to make Inventory and Appraisement thereof, all according to law and according to the best of our ability and understanding so help us God.

LINCOLN PARISH LOUISIANA.

BE IT KNOWN, That on 16th day of April 1901 A. D. an order issued from R. B. Dawkins, Judge of District Court Lincoln Parish La., in the above entitled succession but which has just been filed authorizing ordering, and requiring me J. W. Williams Clerk District Court and ex-Officio Recorder and Notary Public for aforesaid Parish, to make a fair, just and complete Inventory and Appraisement of all the property of every description known to belong to William D. Cook, dec'd. and pursuant thereto I have appointed G. W. Braswell and L. C. Gahagan legal and competent appraisers to value and appraise the same and to assist me to make said Inventory and Appraisement and pursuant to said order, I have on this the 17th day of July 1901 A. D. caused said appraisers to meet me at my office at - Ruston, La. and have sworn them according to law as such appraisers, as shown above.  And I have called A. H . Mayfield and S. M. Lewis witnesses of legal age and domicile to attend the making of this Inventory and Appraisement.
