Chancery Sale of Very Valuable Land.
PURSANT to an interlocutory order of the Chancery Court, rendered in the case of Wm H. Maples and others against Joseph R. Rudd and others, in said Court, I, William Lowry, Clerk and Master of the Chancery Court at Athens, will proceed to sell on the premises on the 22d day of September next, the land formally owned by William Maples, dec’d, containing 526 1/2 acres, more or less. — one hundred dollars of the purchase money will be required to be paid in advance, and the balance to be in one and two years with interest from the date, for which bond and surety will be required, and a lien retained until all is paid. Sale betwixt the hours of 10 and 2 o’clock of said day.

ALSO, at the same time and place, (and succeeding days until all the property shall be disposed of,) I will sell all the personal property (except negroes) belonging to the estate of said William Maples, dec’d; including a valuable lot of work Mules; a Jack; 8 Jennetts; about 75 head of Hogs; 500 bushels of Wheat; standing Corn; 10 2/3 Shares of the Capital Stock of the East Tennessee And Georgia Rail Road Company — and a great variety of other property.
