This cemetery is located just east of Hwy 5 at Pine Grove Road in the community of Pine Grove, which is between Hickory Flat, MS and Ashland, MS.
The cemetery's history seems to vary from who you talk to. Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery is owned by Pine Grove Baptist Church. It was started about 1830-1840 by members of the congregation. It indeed is still a very active cemetery.
