I, Margaret M. Chiles Avis being of the age of eighteen years .....

1. I am the daughter of Charles Dwight Chiles born on 1889 at Birmingham, Ala. died at Birmingham, Ala. on 1923 and his wife Fay Rudd Chiles born on 1892 at Temple, Texas

2. The said Charles Dwight Chiles was the child of Charles Chester Chiles born on 7-29-1865 at Falmouth, Ky. died at Birmingham, Ala. on 4-13-1904 and his wife Ellena Rose Nave born on 1-22-1870 at Jefferson County, Ala. died at Birmingham, Ala. on 3-30-1928 married on Oct 3 1888.

3. The said Ellena Rose Nave was the child of William J. Nave born on 12-27-1839 at Marion, Perry Co., Ala. died at Springville, St. Clair Co., Ala. on 9-17-1877 and his wife Mary Adeline Ayres born on 7-10-1844 at Jefferson Co., Ala. died at Birmingham, Ala. on 10-11-1911 married on 1-28-1869.

4. The said Mary Adeline Ayres was the child of John B. Ayres born on 4-4-1800 at Jefferson Co., Ala. died at Jefferson Co., Alabama on 3-4-1857 and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Tarrant born on 2-25-1821 at Jefferson Co., Ala. died at __ on 8-6-1866 married on 9-28-1843.

5. The said Elizabeth Tarrant was the child of Benjamin Tarrant born on 10-8-1792 at Virginia died at Jefferson Co., Ala. on 2-15-1874 and his wife Morning Richardson born on 8-29-1794 at Pendleton Dist., So. Carolina died at Jefferson Co., Ala. on 9-1866 married on 12-26-1815.

6. The said Benjamin Tarrant was the child of James Tarrant born on 11-30-1753 at Pittsylvania Co., Va. died at Jefferson Co., Ala. on 7-5-1840 and his wife Jane Berch born on ___ at Virginia died at Jefferson Co., Ala. on 1830 married on Virginia.
