To the Hon Court of Ordinary of said County.
The petition of J. C. Rudd showeth, that he is the head of a family consisting of himself, and wife Helen M. Rudd, aged twenty four years, and infant daughter Maud aged two weeks; that he is a resident of said State and County and desires an exemption of property as a Homestead under the Constitution and laws of 1877 of said State.
Petitioner shows that he is not the owner or possessor of any real estate and appends a schedule of personalty he desires exempted and prays to have the right guaranteed of supplementing the present schedule by future acquisitions to the amount of sixteen hundred dollars according to the intent and provisions of the Constitution of Georgia adopted and ratified December 1877. Your petitioner sets forth below a true and correct list of his creditors. And your petitioner shall ever pray

And petitioner now shows that he has a deposit of Ten Dollars in cash the hands of W. C. Carty of said State and County, and desires to amend his schedule as set out above by supplementing to the said schedule the deposit aforesaid, and prays your Honor to give direction to said W. C. Carter to bring said cash into court to be invested in provisions for one of petitioner's family as provided for in the code.
